Meet Sophia

Sophia Mallie is a yoga teacher, singer, bodywork practitioner, and yoga teacher trainer based in Bay Area California with over 15 years of teaching experience.

She leads yoga teacher trainings, workshops, and international retreat experiences that integrate yoga, sound healing, voice, breath, and somatic awareness to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and embodied presence. Her work is known for weaving together intelligent movement, restorative practices, live vocal sound journeys, and sound baths into deeply transformative experiences.

Sophia’s path to yoga began during her early career in dance, during a time of personal struggle with perfectionism, self-criticism, and disordered eating. Through yoga and mindfulness, she found grounding, healing, and a renewed sense of connection to her body and creativity, an experience that continues to inform her teaching and mentorship.

She specializes in helping students and teachers feel at home in their bodies, reconnect with inspiration and develop sustainable tools for well-being through movement, breath, voice, and sound in a way that’s fun and accessible.

Her offerings combine uplifting music, intelligent sequencing, alignment-based yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sound healing for an immersive full-body experience.

MEET MIYA

Guest teacher

Miya Dunets is a contemplative psychotherapist (AMFT), yoga and meditation teacher, sound worker, Reiki practitioner, and singer-songwriter. With extensive training in yoga, engaged Buddhist and yogic meditation, breathwork, and sound healing, she is a lifelong student devoted to practices that cultivate steadiness, meaning, and inner peace.

Her work is grounded in the belief that conscious movement, stillness, breath, sound, silence, and community can guide us back to our highest selves. Through consistent practice, she supports others in cultivating courage, compassion, resilience, and grace in both their inner and outer lives.

In retreat spaces, Miya brings a grounded, compassionate presence that weaves together therapeutic insight, somatic awareness, sound, and creative expression, inviting participants into deeper presence, reflection, and embodied healing. Her sound bath sessions invite participants into spacious states of listening and presence, where vibration becomes a pathway back to balance and inner connection.
